How can I deactivate my account?
To deactivate your account, log in to refmob.com and navigate to the 'Account Settings' section, then change the 'Account Status' to 'Disabled' and select 'save'.
Why will my friends want to be referred by me? How do I incent them to ask for my referral?
Earn some, share some. You might want to incent your friends by sharing your referral amount.
Do I have to share the referral fees?
How much you share, if any, is completely up to you. Make sure that your referral listing specifies what you want to share, and stick by it.
There are multiple people who can refer me, how do I choose one? Shall I contact all of them?
Do not contact all of them! Only send a referral request message to one of them. It might be a good idea to base your selection criteria on existing member feedback.
How much time shall I wait for my referral request to be answered before I contact other members who can refer me?
Wait for atleast 24 hours. Waiting for less than that can result in negative user feedback.
How many messages can I send per day?
Do not send more than one message to the same member if there is no response.
I got referred by member ABC, but never received the referral amount that member ABC had promised. What can I do?
Request member ABC for the referral money. If you still do not get it, leave negative feedback for the user. This will help other community members in the future.
Will I be compensated by RefMob.com for the referral amount that I never received?
RefMob.com is not liable for any failed referrals, please refer to our terms of use for more information.
Why is feedback important?
Feedback is made up of comments and ratings left by other members you have sent/received referral messages. Feedback can be very useful for the user community to make a judgement on the member.
Can I leave feedback for anyone?
You can only give feedback about users to whom you have sent a message, or received a message.
What is 'User Rating'?
'User Rating' represents your reputation as a RefMob.com member. It's made up of feedback left by other members, and some other metrics including your profile and listings. User Rating is based on a five star rating scale.
My current 'User Rating' is 'no stars'. How do I improve my 'User Rating'?
You can 'earn' up to two stars. Uploading your profile picture earns you a star and listing two or more referrals earns you the second star.
Why is 'User Rating' important?
'User Rating' is used while sorting search results. The higher the rating, the more chances of successfully completing a referral.
How can I use RefMob for my business?
Businesses use RefMob to inform existing customers about their 'refer-a-friend' bonus.
